The Copy Crafter

I write email campaigns, blogs, articles, E-newsletters, case studies and more. My aim is to inform and engage your audience with relevant content and persuasive copywriting.

 Working with me means…

  • We share a common vision — technology has the power to prepare learners of all ages for success in the digital era.
  • You save time. I have experience learning with different digital platforms and online courses. My vast experience as a teacher and learner means you won’t waste time explaining the industry or your product or service.

 Why Me?

I’m backed by a unique blend of skills and experiences.

Education — formally trained in the social sciences, I seek to make sense of the world. It offers me a unique lens from which to view the world. It allows for a deeper insight into society and a better understanding of the relationships between people.

Training — as an AWAI trained copywriter and Professional Writers’ Alliance Member, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from the very best. As an AWAI Circle of Success member, I also have lifetime access to all 24 years of their content-rich library.

Learning — as a lifelong learner, my thirst for knowledge is insatiable. I’m a veteran of activity-based, collaborative learning platforms and skill-building courses. In fact, I received my teaching certification through one of these digital platforms.

Work — I’ve had the opportunity to work in a number of educational settings all over the world; from private tutoring to 60 student classes, from ESL classrooms to International schools and from traditional schools to online learning platforms.

Life — as an international traveler I’ve been fortunate enough to explore the world in all it’s unique beauty. I’m a cultural thrill seeker and volunteer who loves the role of giving back and learning from others.

 From Burnout to Rediscovery:

A journey from the deserts of Abu Dhabi to the jungles of Nicaragua

It was the summer of 2018 and I was certain I’d NEVER teach again. I had nothing left to give. The flame that once fueled my passion for teaching was gone. I was overworked, over observed, under-supported and undervalued by the establishment that was supposed to support me.

I was burnt out.

Teaching had allowed me to see to see the world and led me to a school in Abu Dhabi. Despite this and the fear of the unknown… it was time to find a new path. This chapter in my life was over.

I decided to pursue an education that had always been fruitful for me; travel.

Sometime later I found myself as a volunteer teacher in a rural village in the jungles of Nicaragua. And I quickly rediscovered that inner joy of helping others rekindled.

But at the same time, there was something else troubled me…

The future looked much brighter for the 10-year-old student I taught at the international school in Abu Dhabi than it did for the 10-year-old at the village school in Nicaragua.

It wasn’t ABILITY that separated these two groups. It was…

Access to technology.

It was troubling to realize my tech deprived students in Nicaragua had LITTLE chance to reach their full potential… while their peers – who happened to be born elsewhere – had EVERY opportunity.

From that moment on it became my mission to help learners reach their potential; to help those who wish to improve their lives. It became clear my role would be to connect technology innovators with anyone looking to learn the skills necessary for success in the 21st Century – regardless of where they come from.
